Parliamentary lobby

On Monday 9th of June, the TUC Speak Up For Public Services campaign will bring together 26 public sector unions, including the NUT, in a Representative Lobby of Parliament to defend public services and deliver fair pay.

Colleagues are asked to discuss the campaign and lobby. Details can be found here.

Further information on Bradford NUT's involvement will be published here soon.

Divisions & Associations will be asked to provide two representatives per constituency. If you are interested please contact us at the Bradford Office (01274 414664).

Acting General Secretary, Christine Blower, has written to all school representatives in England and Wales. Her letter headlines a substantial mailing which arrives in schools
9 May.

The mailing includes multiple copies of a Fair Pay postcard and a leaflet to parents and the public.

Multiple copies of the pay petition are included.

Please encourage all to sign it. Petitions must be returned by 23 May.

Fair Pay Petition - All can Sign!

Copies of the Pay Petition are now circulating in all schools and sixth form colleges.

We ask all who support the campaign aims to circulate the petition and sign it.

Please return the signed petitions no later than 23 May.
